Living life in the beautiful Okanagan
I went for a walk this morning and took a route I don’t usually take. Belmont Park is a small, pretty park between two condo properties. It’s very peaceful and, right now, very green. I think I’ll walk through here a little more often.
John’s wind chimes, made with assorted bones and the tips of tree planters shovels.
This is a scene played out over and over all across Canada every winter. It doesn’t get any more Canadian than this!
This old egg beater belonged to John’s mother, and possibly his grandmother. It still works better, and whips cream faster, than my electric hand held beater!
We woke up to a white world, but it won’t last. The temperature is 0ºC and forecast to go up to 3ºC today, which means it will all start to melt away.
