He Went Thataway

This was taken from our tiny balcony on a rainy day. There was just something about the reflection of the street light in the puddle right next to an arrow on the driveway that struck me.

A Copper Sky

Copper Sky

I think I can honestly say that I've never seen a copper sky. I kept telling John the sky was brown; he kept correcting my by saying it was copper. Great! Now, I've seen a copper sky and it was incredible.

I did no touch ups to this photo whatsoever, other than to make the file smaller for web viewing. You're seeing what we saw.

On the Road

Yesterday, I talked John into driving down to Peachland. While he sat in the bar watching golf, I wandered through town taking pictures of anything that struck me as interesting.

Pilings in Peachland
Padraig Harrington won the PGA championship, and we had an enjoyable, and much needed, afternoon away from the apartment.

Welcome!

Just what I need... another blog. I do have a photo blog on Wordpress, but I've misplaced the password for it and the email I used to sign up with WP is no longer valid, so...........

This is where I'll be attempting to post pictures on a sort of regular basis. We don't get out with the camera as much as we used to, but I'll try. I miss it.

The first picture? Geraniums growing on our little deck. We weren't sure they'd survive the adventures of last winter, but both pots (3 different colours) did, and are doing extremely well!
